Presentation customization
The RISE Editor allows you to customize how various objects are presented in model drawings. The available settings are the same regardless of whether you're editing the convention of a specific model or a reusable convention in your conventions file. The snapshot below is taken when editing the conventions of a model.

The presentation convention is applied when adding an object to a drawing. You may override the convention settings for any object. This is done directly in the drawing by setting the object attributes. Read our article on color encoding to get more details on how to use colors when modeling.


Drawing Mode properties
StyleNotation used in drawings. Currently supported styles are ERD (crow's foot) and UML.

Entity properties

Background Color Background color used when adding an entity to a drawing.
Text Color Text color used for entity name and attributes.

Interface properties

Background Color Background color used when adding an interface to a drawing.
Text Color Text color used for the interface name.

Text Note properties

Background Color Background color used when adding a text box to a drawing.
Text Color Text color used for heading and content.

View properties

Background Color Background color used when adding a view to a drawing.
Text Color Text color used for view name and attributes.
